In it, a Manhattan psychiatrist, Luke Rhinehart, finds himself stuck in a middle-aged rut. As mentioned before on previous post I was a sucker for the early UK progressive house tunes that were coming out in late 91 and early 92 on labels such as Cowboy, Guerilla, Limbo, Junk Rock etc. Last Friday we posted this fantastic image below to our Facebook page. Taken by Wally Cassidy, it captures the legendary Dublin street performer Thom McGinty, better known as the Diceman, strolling down Grafton Street. On Rollin' with Dice and Wheels the Diceman himself promises to be uncensored, filthy, raw and opinionated and not like the hundreds of other podcasts hosted by stand-up comics. I then had conversations with fellow Luther fans who mentioned The Dice Man, a 1971 book by Luke Rhinehart about a fictional character who basically lives his life on the roll of a dice. In an interview for his one-shot story, Joker's Asylum: Two-Face (which I'll look at on its own later), writer David Hine explained the appeal of writing Harvey: "Two-Face is the perfect distillation of the Dice Man character. Several year ago I read the book The Dice Man, by Luke Rhinehart; “If that dice has a 'one' face up, I thought, I'm going downstairs to rape Arlene. The legendary foul- and fresh-mouthed comic starts his new residency at Vinyl in The Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, and it's the first for a comedian at the hotel casino. In DICEWORLD, you say that you found your voice when you wrote the book, and I can tell that it was written with enthusiasm. If it's a one, … …the other numbers mean bed, the dice is cast. 40k I liked Skorne and Khador enough to get me interested, but their models didn't keep me sucked into the game as long as I thought they would have. Summary - The Dice Man is one of the all-time “cult classics” and it lives up to its reputation. I found my voice when I started blogging. The Dice Abide Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man. Apparently he took this a little bit too far.
